Touchsone Energy's "Together We Save" Campaign
The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives of central and southern Indiana have joined electric co-ops across the county in launching a new integrated energy efficiency campaign, "Together We Save."
At the heart of the campaign is the Web site at TogetherWeSave.com, which demonstrates simple and sometimes dramatic benefits of energy-saving measures through interactive learning tools and videos that detail specific home improvement projects. More than a dozen interactive Web applications link to a virtual home tour that guide consumers through a host of energy reducing actions with cost savings estimates, an energy audit and efficiency tips.

The Business Energy Advisor
The Business Energy Advisor is a clearinghouse of energy management tools and resources for business customers of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives. The Business Energy Advisor will help business customers: find out where energy dollars are going; get money-saving advice; select the equipment that makes the most sense; identify key purchasing criteria.

The Electric Consumer, the statewide magazine for Indiana’s electric cooperatives, is presenting an in-depth series of articles on America’s energy challenge. Beginning with the March 2008 issue, the series – an Environment of Change – looks at the issues that could affect reliability as well as the rates we pay.

The Electric Power Research Institute
The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) conducts research and development on technology, operations and the environment for the electric power sector. A non-profit organization, EPRI has conducted extensive research on how to confront the carbon dioxide challenge. The EPRI approach includes a full portfolio of electricity technologies to cut emissions and meet electricity demand.

Energy Star is a U.S. Department of Energy program helping individuals and businesses reduce costs and protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.
