Description: |
Responsibilities include the production
of long-term maintenance plans for Hoosier Energy’s transmission
system; the development of the reliability centered maintenance /
condition based maintenance programs; and keeping the maintenance
compliance program up-to-date with NERC requirements. |

|
|
Education: |
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
engineering technology or other technical fields is required. |
|
|
|
|
Experience: |
Minimum of five years of electrical
utility experience in transmission system maintenance is required. |
|
|
|
|
Skills and Knowledge: |
Have a considerable understanding of
construction, maintenance and operation of high voltage transmission
lines and substations, metering, relays and communication system;
must be capable of walking contoured farm ground and irregular
right-of-way environments to inspect right of way and transmission
facilities. A valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills
and the ability to effectively communicate and contribute as part of
a team is a must. |
