Hoosier Energy's facilities include two coal-fired
power plants, two natural gas-fired peaking plants, a renewable energy landfill
methane generating facility, 1,450 miles of transmission line and nearly 300
substations and delivery points. With headquarters in Bloomington, Indiana, the
generation and transmission cooperative and its members serve nearly 800,000
residents, businesses, industries and farms in central and southern Indiana and
southeastern Illinois.
